I was middle-aged before I realized the power of meditation. I thought that it was critical to make my brain stay quiet or I would fail at it, but I learned that this is a practice that requires both patience, and, yes, practice. It is really a worthwhile complement to exercise and good nutrition to provide balance, help improve sleep, and mitigate stress! Starting a meditation practice changed my health and whole life in ways that I never thought possible.

Iβve learned that meditation can be useful in combination with tapping, known as Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT, as well as other practices to help rebuild health. Iβve also learned that meditation is NOT about sitting in silence, itβs about allowing thoughts to pass through and out so we donβt get stuck. Even just 3 minutes can make a difference and there are a lot of types of meditation to try such asβ¦.
