Master the mind-body connection.
I was middle-aged before I realized the power of meditation. I thought that it was critical to make my brain stay quiet or I would fail at it, but I learned that this is a practice that requires both patience, and, yes, practice. It is really a worthwhile complement to exercise and good nutrition to provide balance, help improve sleep, and mitigate stress! Starting a meditation practice changed my health and whole life in ways that I never thought possible.
I like to say “what we manifest in our minds we manifest in our body”
Meditation let’s us…
🧘🏻♀️Release negative thoughts about sickness and life that cause internal stress
🧘🏻♀️Focus on the positive to attract more positivity
🧘🏻♀️ Clear the mental clutter that gets in our way from moving forward
🧘🏻♀️ Raises the vibrational cells in our body for powerful healing
I’ve learned that meditation can be useful in combination with tapping, known as Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT, as well as other practices to help rebuild health. I’ve also learned that meditation is NOT about sitting in silence, it’s about allowing thoughts to pass through and out so we don’t get stuck. Even just 3 minutes can make a difference and there are a lot of types of meditation to try such as….
🙇🏻♀️ Body scanning
🙇🏻♀️ Walking meditation
🙇🏻♀️ Guided meditation
🙇🏻♀️ Binaural beats
🙇🏻♀️ Yoga as meditation
